This beautiful custom-ordered 2007 Warwick Katana served me well for several years as my main gigging and recording bass, but my desires and needs have changed and this awesome bass just sits in its case in the closet, unseen and unplayed. I am offering it for sale since I am moving and it's time to thin the heard.

Amazing tone: clear and piano-like with almost none of the "typical" Warwick growl. More modern and articulate.

Custom ordered transparent blue high polish paint, all gold hardware. Dark and streak-free ebony fretboard. No noticeable fretwear. Light surface scratches on back and around controls. There is a small ding on the side as visible in the last picture below.

In the interests of full disclosure, the D string tuner, while functional, has some kind of strange issue. I ordered a replacement tuner from AllParts and never installed it; I will include it. The Warwick OEM straplocks were weak and came apart, so they have been replaced with gold Dunlop straplocks. Strap will be included. original owners' manual and tools included as well.

Includes a hardshell case since the original Warwick gigbag fell apart after regular use.

Just FYI - If you were to order this exact bass build right now from Warwick, the price would be $8489.74.

    Weight: 11lbs. Nut width: 1.5"
PayPal only (cash ACCEPTED WITH LOCAL PICKUP ONLY), ship to USA only.

Thanks! It actually looks a bit darker than this in normal lighting, but the flash really brought out the flame in the maple top and neck.

The bass is no longer for sale. It's too nice to let go for so little, even if I never play it. Wall art, I guess.

I feel the same way. No point giving it away if you really don't need to sell. I think that reasoning keeps stuff off the market these days.
