Longtime lurker here looking for advice.
I've recently bought a Warwick Fortress Flashback 5 that I absolutely love but I've previously only owned active basses.
I've ordered an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp, but before I go ahead with installation, I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on pickups.
The Flashback has a lipstick in the neck position which is all I ever use, I also only use the neck pup in my Corvette $$ and Dingwall Combustion.
I'm considering buying an MM style pup for the Fortress as I love my Corvette. Any ideas before I begin cutting out my new pickguard? (I'm leaving the original guard intact with wiring etc as they're too precious to damage)
