sorry if there is such a topic,but anyway. im interested in warwick rb corvette model! what can you say about it? is it worth buying?
id like to play some funky metal(such as early incubus has been playing;Dirk Lance style) finger-style and slap:bassist:

Depends on which Era Rockbass you're looking at. The newest ones that are dead ringers to the real 'Wicks are superb. I played a $$ 5 string and I really liked it. I personally would put a preamp in it, as it comes passive only. But that's just me.

I used to own a 2003 RB Corvette Basic Active 5 Fretless. And it too was a good instrument, but the new ones are way better.

The Pro series is exactly the same as the old German Corvette Std, just made in Korea. The new Rockbasses eastcoasteddie is talking about are the new ones with the two piece bridge and the headstock without the printing down the middle. They've just got the W like the others and say Rockbass on the truss rod cover. The easiest way to know which from a pic is the neck wood, Rockbasses have maple necks - rather than the Ovangkol on the German/Pro models.
