well i dont know about the lx, but i played a streamer jazzman and it sounded good, but wasn't my sound. it also played good, but still, the feel wasn't there for me. the streamer jazzman seemed pretty versatile, and warwicks are great basses. i have a bo thumb 4 on order right now. i don't think you can wrong with a warwick. some people say that certain warwick models aren't versatile, but i kinda disagree with them.
I had one for awhile, it sounded really nice but I couldn't get used to the tight string spacing, I just gotta have 18mm or more at the bridge to be comfortable.
