Warwick Streamer Stage II Where are you?

Me exactly 20 years ago with my Warwick Streamer Stage II. It was one of the first ones ever made. Bought it some 5 years earlier from Peter Wilfer himself, from their (at that time) small(ish) shop in Germany. It even had green LED fret markers on the top of the neck. It weighted a ton, but sounded incredible. Sold it a few years after this photo was taken to by my first house. Even i got a whopping 6K for it i still regret i sold it.

Hey Y'all, Since this thread started on July 1st, I've procured a January built '95 4-string with Bart pickups and Glock preamp, road case, users kit/wax, etc. in Excellent condition for $1800 shipped.....and a February built '07 5-string with Bart pickups, Bart Preamp, (original MEC pickups and preamp included) with road case, kit/wax, etc. in Virtually MINT (it literally lived in a Closet for 11 years!) condition for $1600 shipped..... Indeed, Where are the Streamer Stage IIs? I know where at least 6 of them are....at my House! I'm certainly NOT bragging, I'm just sayin' that if you look around......there they are! Rock On My Bass Brothers and Sisters!!!

There were different Milestone years in the Early Days of Warwick. 1996 Marks the point where the necks came with a Volute. I like the non-volute necks better. They seem thinner and the aged Wenge looks like a nice piece of German Chocolate Cake. I actually have a 1996 Built to Pre-1991 Specs, including Dot position markers, EMG pickups and electronics.

Well, Dot Position Markers , EMG Electronics and Schaller hardware. All Gone in '91. But for '95, yes that was The Big Change.

I could really fancy a Streamer Stage II. Sadly, it seems that now they're more expensive than ever (even by Warwick standards). In America and the UK, Warwick seem to have scaled their distribution back considerably (I note that since Dana B. Goods stopped being a Warwick dealer, their market prescence has rather declined in terms of what you can find in stores).

Thanks again! I actually consider changes to hardware such as pick-ups to be more important xD especially emgs, I think that they're the tone I'm looking for rather than the standard EMC's
