Warwick Users! What is your favorite string to use? Post here:

I use Sadowsky's who have a tapered B available, but they are stainless....I'm happy with them. I also have Rotosound 77's on my ole Dean EAB that I actually like just fine as well. The Sadowskys are on the Warwick though.

The E is not tapered and black labels are medium+ gauge I'd say. The B is .135 for example.

Sorry, no help on the nickels.

This is really useful for me, too, as I have the same bass as madbassplaya.

Does anyone find a particular gauge set works best? Or, are you like me and you just get whatever 6er set you can afford?

Great info for me too. I have a thumb 5 bo and I just put a set of DR high beams on it. The B string was a pain in the ass to get on. Now I know why.

I did notice that the B string seems to have some kind of slight rattle up by the nut when I play the string open. You dont hear it through the amp, only when Im sitting practicing with the bass not plugged in do I notice it. It didnt do this with the strings that were on the bass when I got it.
