Warwick

The JAN 3 would likely have been added later. I have four Warwicks from 2006/2007 that all came with the JAN II (the plasticky one), But they are prone to breaking so i eventually replaced them with brass JAN 3’s.

As for the Bartolini, that’s probably after market, though it was an option in the Warwick custom shop. I have a 2006 Warwick corvette from the custom shop that has a Bartolini preamp and Bartolini pickups.

Sometimes people put a right handed cover on a lefty bass so it'll be upside down so it fits. Both my Warwick and my Ibanez have that. But back to your bass. If it's an older bass Warwick used to use bartolini electronics standard before they started building thier custom mec electronics. But if it was older you'd have an individual adjusting just a nut where you take a flathead screwdriver and adjust each slot by itself. Once the second and 3rd generation came out they adjusted with small hex bolts. But I have seen some team built which is their production line stock basses which have a brass nut. Either way it's nice that you have brass. I like the look of them and honestly it's something that you'll never have to worry about once the mid has been made. They won't crack like bone or plastic. The reinforced graphite Warwick uses in their cheap nut is pretty good though. I've had no problems with mine and I go out of my way to put those on all my basses. I like the design concept. Everyone should have an adjustable nut. But you can thank the crazy Germans at Warwick for being pioneers.
