Washburn AB 10

Hi there,
I've recently been looking into buying an acoustic bass and I'm lucky enough to have a buddy who works in a warehouse for an instrument distributing company, they happen to have a few AB 10 Washburn (acoustic/electric) basses that he would be able to buy from a very reasonable discount. (I would never be able to afford one of these at retail price :/)

anyways my point is I mainly want to buy this bass so i can have acoustic jams outside (even though it would defiantly overshadow my old EB-0 for electric playing as well lol) but I'm not sure if it will be loud enough, having only slits in the body instead of a sound hole. I've also heard a lot of problems with being able to hear acoustic basses in general.

Can anyone give me some feedback? maybe someone whose owned one before?

thanks

Ironically, you have come to the wrong place, and you have also come to the right place. :D

This is the wrong place to discuss acoustic electric basses. I suggest the "basses" forum on the BG side.

This is the right place to discuss acoustic basses that can be heard. :smug:
