Has the Buzz Feiten system and made in Korea.

It is indeed an active circuitry, a big humbucker same size as the Musicman, Buzz Feiten system, and because I own one of those, I can say that that bass is truly wonderful, just a bit dark tone, but if you and a bit of treble and presence on the amplifier settings, you will get a very nice and punchy tone. RB2000, a bass that I will not sell or exchange.
