Wedding/dance band based in Chicago burbs

Band is called 5th Element. I have played for these guys and they play the usual wedding repertoire like disco, Englebert, Pretty Woman, In The Mood, Tequila, Car Wash, and lots of other stuff, including a couple of pleasant surprises like the Buckinghams' Don't You Care. They play mostly bars these days but want to do weddings too. They need a permanent member who is willing to do 6-8 gigs a month at $100+ a man, and they'll get them as soon as they find someone who can commit to the schedule (I can't or you wouldn't be seeing this ad).

I'm interested - this is just the kind of thing I was thinking of getting into as an alternative to the classic rock cover bar gigs I've been doing.


Edit: I'd love to do this but I can't commit to such a full gigging schedule at this time.


Good sound to this band, though. Looks like a good gig.
