Weird circuit in my Warwick

well, I "won" a pair of barts for 78 USD. we'll see what they'll do for me. I'll get an aggie later, but I can't use the passive pickups with the pots already in my bass, right? Can I at least use the volume or blend pots? Or should I wire them straight to output?

this is not gonna help anyone, but... I owned (many years ago) an early Warwick Streamer stage II with EMG and the OEM electronic (I don't know if back than it was already MEC). It sounded good, but I changed the pups for a pair of Bartolini J94.... probably the best 4 strings I have ever owned..... too bad it weighted a ton and a half!

Anyway, if you use Bartolini you'll need a pre. They have a very low output.

Almost sure you can not. EMG uses 25k pots. Barts use "regular" 250K

You'll need a 250K vol and a 250k (even a 500k, with Barts) dual blend pot.

Finally routing past them solved the problem.

They are different from the bass and tone pots. This solving the problem would suggest they are of the wrong ohmage. But the part numbers would suggest they are right: 50k, 25k? Or am I misinterpreting the part numbers? Could the pots themselves have a malfunction, if they are of the right ohmage?
