weird?? power failure?

I’ve recently bought an Ashdown EVO 900 III head (2nd hand) – and I love it!!! Sounds pretty good through my old Warwick 4x10. Have the volume on ½ and have plenty more volume if needed

We were playing in the weekend and during a song my bass just cut out…. Thought my lead had come out, but that was ok – then realized there were no lights on my amp… no power. So I turned the amp on and off, wiggled the power lead and nothing…. Yelled to the drummer that I had no power (don’t think he could hear me) – but then amp just lit up and started working fine for the rest of the night.

I don’t know what the problem was or what caused it but it was weird....

Not familiar with the EVO, but I have had problems with Ashdown running too hot. I've blown heads that have basically cost more to fix than but new. Fan of Ashdown sound, but gave up on them because of quality.
