I have a weird "pulsing" that occurs in my signal. I have absolutely no idea where to even start to fix this issue as I hear it across multiple instruments. If I pluck a note, open string or fret a note on the neck, my signal "pulses". It's really pronounced in the recording I have attached.
I notice this across both active and passive basses and it can be heard affecting octaver tracking and envelope filters as well. The fuzz just amplifies it to the point where it's very apparent so I used that.
I'm using a Musicman Sterling HH with DR Sunbeams 100 - 40. Preamp is flat. Signal chain is Bass -> Fuzz -> Recording Device.
WARNING: Track starts out quiet and then I add a fuzz at :25. Watch the headphones/speakers.
Thanks to anyone that can help me get to the bottom of the issue.
