Wow! Was watching this over on Feebay, and it sold today for dirt cheap...hope a TB'er landed it...A sweet HH lava Pearl Bongo 4 for $643.33 + only $25 shipping from a music store....SCORE for someone....
I have this same Bongo, Same color and paid a good deal more.....
It is amazing how these deals happen along here and there....Always have to be on the watch.
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
According to Guitar Centre, Bongo's don't have much resale value D:
Maybe so... but ALL of GC'c used Bongos are listed at over $1000.
I also watched the eBay Bongo go for less than $700 but I had no funds in my GAS tank.

One'll have to pay over 1900 ($2600) to get a new Bongo 4 from the store.
I only can see three bongos for sale on the classifieds here and they are listed between 1500 ($2055) and 1800 ($2466) !!
I got mine from an US bassist, had to pay for overseas shipping and about 25% more for duty taxes and it still beat the prices we have here.
Will be joining soon! Bongo 5 HH Sapphire Black/Black Pearl (new) on its way. Im in the UK so no, they arent cheap, however, the price was excellent due to the amount of business Ive had with the store.
Im anxious and nervous about it! But, I love EBMMs, so Im sure ill bond.
I actually think the design is stunning. Very very odd, but modern.

Thanks for the pic. Im glad its sparkly and almost 'BMW' ish grey/metallic/dark blue instead of just black![]()
BTW, what's the story with new tuners? Could you share a link with some info on the topic? thanks![]()
There was a few thread on the EBMM forums with pictures. No idea if they are very close or indeed a fair way off, (obviously they want to get it right!).
I think the Bongo looks good as it is, but, innovation is welcome![]()
After months and months of looking at threads like these, I have finally gotten my very own Bongo. It is amazing, and I can only imagine how itll play after it gets a proper setup. It's a sapphire black finish but it came out really blue in the shots I took of it outside.

I thought I hear on the EBMM forum that they may be shown at NAMM but I am not totally for sure on that?
