I've decided to upgrade my Shure E2 IEMs with Westone UM2s based mainly on the reviews I've read here. Couple of questions:
1. Is there much advantage to buying the removable cable model versus the permanently attached cables? There's only about a $20 dollar difference but is one substantially better than the other?
2. Looking on e-bay I found some listed for more than $50 cheaper than the list price on westone.com. Seems like a big difference, so I'm a little weary of buying something that may be a factory second or refurbished item. Anybody have any experience buying UM2s from e-bay?
