My band currently has no subs -- we're currently in the land of cabs-on-a-stick. We're a trio playing covers (the usual suspects -- Stones, Billy Idol and so forth, at the heavier end of the scale) in small to medium sized venues. These are small bars in eastern Ontario, generally about 50 to 200 people.
After renting subs for the last few weekends for slightly larger gigs, I've come to the realization that subs are worth the investment.
My guitarist has access to Wharfedale equipment at very good prices through work. Has anyone tried Wharfedale's powered subs (i.e., Invalid Link Removed Any issues with them? Is the sound ok?
Thanks!
