Just wanted you all to know how much I enjoy your forum. I've played at guitar off and on for most of my life but when GAS hit about 3 years ago, I decided to try something new. I found an inexpensive bass and a practice amp that I could afford with the pocket change I had been saving for awhile. Didn't want to sink much money in it in case I didn't care for it. Found out playing bass is a blast! Something you all probably already know. It can also be expensive. Something else you probably already know.
Anyway, I found this site a great resource for reviews and opinions on gear.

My first bass and amp. I've added to the collection a little since then but I've learned from my guitar playing never get rid of your first one. I'll always have the Squire.
