What about this Stingray?

I'm looking for a stingray5 and found this one on ebay. It's got the black head, does that mean it's a limited editon version? What do you guys think about the bass? Does it seem okay to purchase? Nothing suspicious? I'm new on ebay and I've never had a stingray before so I appricate all the advice and hints I can get.

Matching headstocks are an option now... not sure about 1999.

But regardless, it's awesome.

It looks like they're pretty up front about any issues it's got, and everything looks fine from the pictures.

That's a great color combo, to boot. I'd nab it myself if I were in the market.
