What Acoustic head is this?

As with many things electronic and bass, Japan gets some cool oddities compared to the somewhat milquetoast offerings we get here in the U.S. Maybe it's not so odd, but it is intriguing. I had an Acoustic 150B head back in 1980-1984 that was as simple as waking up in the morning. A few large knobs, two input jacks, and a power switch (and a standby, if I recall correctly). I ran it through a Fender dual showman bass cab that cost me $50. That rig was ridiculous; no effects, just a Rickenbacker 4001, hard fingerstyle and a sound that could break glass two blocks away. Oh to be young again.

I think he's since switched to an Ampeg head of some sort. Hard to say, The band went through a few equipment changes last year. In some of the pictures I find now of the past year, his head is in a rack case. the face of the amp is two toned. Dark on top and metallic on the bottom. Hard to say though since the camera moves around so much.

I used to have on of these guitar cabs. It was loud as heck and weighed a ton. It was built like a tank. I mostly used it as extra security against my front door.
