What Amp to choose???

So I need a new halfstack to compete with the drummer, he play loud.
I was thinking GK stuff or maybe markbass but I need some help wha too choose. Ive played through both and like them both but I dont know. I want a 4x10 cab and the head around 400 watts or so. I would also want the head to have a mute function, that can be really handy. If you guys have any suggestions or anything to help me out pick the right bass amp just tell me.
I have a five string spector so I need something that will pick up that low B and not let it get lost.

yeah I like the head and 4x10 cab. But its kinda heavy. I want something a little lighter than that big cab

The wieght is wrong on the site it should read 68lbs. If that is to heavy try an Avatar 410 or if you have the cash Epifini UL410 is very light and a top of the line cab.

MarkBass is a fine amp, I prefer the flexability of G-K but that is a personal choice. You should also audition a Genz Benz.

All those amps are great amps and they all do different things. You can't go wrong with any of them. But it's like picking out a girlfriend for you to tell you which one to get. Just read people's opinions, go to your local music stores and play a few, and pick the one you like best.

yeah I know, but what do you think about markbass? do you have any experience with it?
