This combo is available locally, but there's very little information given. What head do you think this is?

Sure. It could be an 800, but zooming in it looks like it says 500 at the top right corner. Not a big deal though, 800 is the same sausage, just with more fat. Thanks!
I used one in Hawaii that had the thermal temp shutdown issue. It was exacerbated by the fact I was trying to play reggae with itMy pf800 has been flawless since purchased new in 2017. But some 500's, and a smaller number of 800's had thermal temp shutdown issues. Haven't heard of any complaints in a long time though.

I would be wary without knowing the provenance of this amp. I play through a PF500, and it's a great sounding amp, but I only got it because it came with a warranty. Even then, I always bring my BAM200 with me "just in case".This combo is available locally, but there's very little information given. What head do you think this is?

Yep, this is the same head/cab that I use and it looks exactly like this.yep, looks like a PF500 on top of an HE115 cab. I use this exact rig in a rehearsal space for one of my long term bands. Sounds good, and as long as it's one of the reliable later ver of the amp, you should be good. Keep in mind that some of the earlier versions had some issues.
