Headstock/Emblem Identification Help
Gregory Gafin Custom Guitars. It's very possible that all three are from his shop, and photos of the headstocks might be more telling. Although I'm not in favor of one builder using someone else's design without permission, the photos seem to highlight a good level of craftsmanship.Just be aware that these are Fodera and Smith copies, not the real deal.
I hope that Mr. Gafin is okay, as his location is listed as Mariupal, Ukraine.

For the most part, any custom Fodera starts at the $7500 neighborhood and goes to the sky from there. Dudes offering you 2 for a trade for a P bass? Lol. Beware dude.
edit. Nevermind. I see the other exact pics in another thread showing the headstock. Stay away. Hope whoever is trying to pass them off as the real deal goes out of business.
The person likely doesn't even have the basses and is trying to work you with a scam where you each agree to ship the bass involved in the trade.

no idea what the scam is, but it's a scam more likely than not (since we see the photo is not his, it's nearly 100% a scam..)
trades are typically not so jumbled like that. "are you interested in ___?" - perhaps they list 3-4 things. but a long list of expensive and random stuff is so odd. for a nice P bass. weird.
anyway, good luck out there. scams are everywhere.

That combined with others posts say your spidey sense was right and you avoided a scam.
Just want to chime in, I had the same guy offer me that bass for something I had posted on fb as well. As soon as I started to question the legitimacy he started sending me pictures of all his other basses to “prove” he was “legit”. When I asked to check it out in person he said I had to come to him, after some digging and the same red flags I saw on here, I immediately backed away. Please do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can.
Expose him, Name, address, whatever you got. No patience for this kind of scammer.
This is the excellent result of investigating the "scam". It's common to ignore the first red flag when I really want something. I've learned so much about scammers on craigslist, ebay and the rest. Usually by the second contact by phone or email I can get a feel for who I'm dealing with.
Always remember that someone sending you a picture may or may not actually own that bass. Someone offering a bunch of random stuff might just be trying to figure out what you have and where you live, so he can “visit” your place and “appropriate” your bass.
I’d be really wary of folks like this. Don’t say where you live, don’t give clues as to when you might not be home.
I've been stalking your beautiful Custom Shop in the Classifieds. PLEASE don't do this! I respectfully suggest that you drop your asking to be more in line with others that have sold. Especially with that low weight, it should sell quickly. Good luck!
