My main bass is a really cheap Ibanez GIO I bought 10 years ago as a backup. I swapped the pickups for SD 1/4 Pounders (P&J setup), I rewired new pots and jack, then decided to put strap locks and a new Carvin bridge and tuners on it. I probably should have bought a "better" bass to start, but it kinda kept evolving. I've had people offer me $500-600 for that bass, but I can't let it go, or put it down.
I also play an Ibanez Roadgear 500 and an older Warwick Streamer 5 string.
From there, the pedal board is as follows:
Current Setup:
Behringer TU300 - Tuner
Behringer BSY 600 - Synth
Ibanez PD-7 - Distortion
Bigg Muff - Fuzz (I bought this used and it was painted white, so I tried to get it back to original with my paint job, sounds amazing!)
Ibanez Weeping Demon - Wah
DOD FX25 - Envelope Filter
Ibanez CF-7 - Chorus/Flanger
DOD FX 72 - Flanger --> this is way better than the Ibanez.
MXR Phase 90 - Phaser
(the synth and Phaser have been switched since I took this pic)
I also have an EHX Bassballs that needs fixed.
From there, I go to an Ampeg SVT-3 Pro into an Ampeg 410 classic cab. I was playing around with a rackmount Behringer compressor, but I don't like it, so it will be coming out of my rack.
Later!
