My dream bass would be a Gibson RD (standard or artist) bass. I have seen a few of them around for sale, however I never have enough money to fit the price tag. I love Fender Precision basses as well so an American Precision standard would be a close second followed by a Ric.

I have two on my wish list. The first is a Brubaker KXB Standard 5-Satin Black with matching headstock, birdseye maple board, white MOP inlays. Bartolini Quad coils, bartolini pre-amp. The second will be a custom made Stambaugh with Aero quad coils, Pope pre-amp, 5 string swamp ash with walnut top, matching headstock, birdseye maple board, walnut block inlays. I can purchase both for a total of $5200. Before 2012 is over I'll have both.

I'm thinking about a 6 string in the 1400 - 1700 range. So, a used Bongo6 or Roscoe Century Standard 6. Maybe a Clement 6. If i could try a carvin BB76 I w3ould get one of those, but as much as I LOVE the neck carve on the BB75 I'm not a fan of the XB/LB76 neck carve. A tobacco sunburst Roscoe with a maple board would do me fine

I'm not saying I am ready to buy but I really want to try a Dingwall. None in the southern Michigan area that I can find (I'm an hour northeast of Detroit). I'd buy lunch for any Dingwall owner that would meet me and allow me to play it for 5 or 10 minutes. Otherwise it would cost me over $100 just to go see one in Chicago (assuming there is one there).

Well as far as a wishlist goes here it is:

A passive medium sized frets rosewood fretboard P/J or P/MM five string if the MM pup can be split (ala Schecter Diamond P)

Finally a 5 string ATK with a rosewood fingerboard (I know this will probaly never happen).
