What Bass is this?

Hi there,

My Dad is on the verge of purchasing a 5-string bass guitar from someone he knows. However neither of us know anything about it. The person he's buying it off says its Custom-made but apart from that I don't know anything else.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with what/brand/model it is and what sort of value it holds?

I've been searching the net trying to find out what it might be. The pickups simply say 'ABT' on them and the headstock has a symbol that consists of a circle with what looks like a 'C' and an 'H' in it.

I'm 99% sure that bass is made by a company called Ch guitars.

I've seen someone else on here wth a Ch guitars bass. Some guy with an 'O Rly' t shirt? hehe

That looks like an overseas made bass. Definately doesnt look custom.

CH is a cheapo guitar company from England on Ebay. I wouldn't pay a whole lot for it. Looks like most of their guitars and basses are between 150 AND 200 pounds.

ABT pickups are associated with the Washburn brand, which AFAIK is currently made in Vietnam. I agree there seems to be nothing custom about that bass. It looks much like those Copley things out of Korea - meaning, not bad.
