What bass is this???

Ok..I couldnt cut ad paste but I saw a what appears to be a squier jazz bass. Both body and headstock were painted deep blue, NO pickguard and 3 gold knobs. The headstock said Squier Jazz bass. Whats up with this? Does anyone have one or know if they came out with a special edition? Thanks

Seems to me like somebody just got a run of the mill squier jazz bass and customized it. Pics would help
