You are officially the most opinionated guy on TB. Congrats.
Pot.
Meet.
Kettle.
Come on Sam, you know you're pretty damn opinionated. Let's not derail a good thread. K? I'm sure you can chime in here on topic.
My personal experiences with this...
Warwicks. I love them. Seriously. However, I have only found one or two that I ever REALLY enjoyed playing for more than a few songs. I've owned a few corvettes, a katana, thumb, fortress, etc. The ones that stood out to me were the Katana (dumb move selling that one!) and the fortress 5, which a TBer has and will never sell. I asked.
Spectors aren't my cup o' tea. I tried 3 or 4, in different configurations and with different pickups and preamps, and just could never get into them.
Same thing with rics. I've owned a couple, an could just never get into them. For my style of playing, it was just supremely uncomfortable. I sold both of them for quite a hefty gain though, so that's cool.
