I live about 40 mins north of KC and I actually found it at HyVee. Had a 4 pack of Double Wide IPA and saw it at the checkout. I love it...darker than I had anticipated but doesn't taste as heavy as you'd imagine. Good amount of hops flavor so I like it a lot. Reading the description I thought it would be similar to Rye On Rye but this is better IMO.

Pyramid's Outburst Imperial IPA. Wow, what a nice beer, and I'm sad I only grabbed one in my 'make-your-own-six' pack. Pretty pretty beer.

had one of these last night. quite good.

ever since i tried the founders backwoods bastard (bourbon-barrel aged beer) i've been having a second go at barrel aged beers. this one was okay, but not nearly as good as the founders (they're both two very different styles of beer anyway, and not really a fair comparison.)

a good beer nonetheless! recommended. cant go wrong with anything from dogfishhead.
