What brand of amps isn't voiced for rock but for a cleaner sound and funk?

you can play any type of music on any amp.

good advice.. to give two cents though, my SWR WM 4004 is treating me real well when I want to play nice and crisp.. real clear tone, and it's good if you want the thumpy P sound OR the sizzlin jazz pickups.. I use an SWR 4x10 and it sounds like a million bucks!

I usually see SWR stuff for sale, I also have a baby blue combo and love em!

I go back and forth between using my old SWR 350 redface amp with a 2x12 4ohm eden cab and an RS115 Nemesis combo, depending on the size of the club. I play in a funk cover band and both setups work great and I get a pretty similar sound by knowing what I want and how to EQ each amp, so yes, good advice on any amp will work... usually ;)
