I hope someone here will be able to help this Brit with identifying this Fender logo case.
I bought this a few weeks ago thinking it would be a generic fit for my P, but the cutout in the case is too small for the P body. The insert looks to me to be J shaped but when I tried two of a friend's Jazzes, the case insert is too small for them too.
I got back to the guy I bought the case off (who in all fairness offered me a refund), he said he had a P Lyte in the case but that it was a loose fit.
I was wondering maybe a Jazz Deluxe?
Someone suggested it might be a Heartfield (which I had never heard of).
The twist type latches have SKB on them.
I want to sell it but I'd like to be sure of what it is rather than potentially mislead a buyer.
I've added a photo of my P laying in the case for overall size reference and some closer photos with a tape measure to get an idea of the insert's body size. Please use the link below for the photos. Thank you!
