What do I have here?

I just got myself a Jazz bass, but what is it?
It came with a Fender Road Worn Jazz neck, but that’s not the original neck.
No text or numbers anywhere on the body or the pickups.
It’s got grey bobins and the pickups measures around 7 kOhms each.
The bridge seem to be original according to the lighter color underneath it.
There’s no paint in the truss nut rout, so it’s a later modification as is the ground strip from the bridge.
I think the shielding is new as well.
What have I got, does anyone recognize it?

The body seems to be some sort of an early 60s reissue, based on the PU shield plates and the bridge grounding strip, and the extra pickguard mounting screw hole. (I don't think you would add those items to make it appear "vintage" and then notch out a truss rod access channel and modify the neck pickup)
The brass shielding plates and bridge ground also serve to tie all the additional shielding together. Odd the bridge PU cavity wasn't shielded though.
Is there a brass shielding plate in the control cavity as well?
I doubt the bridge is original.

Can't help you on the pickups - other than they have vintage cloth wiring. (it would be awesome if they were the pure vintage series though. Don't know how you would verify that.) No holes for the PU covers either, FWIW.
Maybe someone else will be along that will recognize other clues.... (maybe that extra hole in the neck pocket indicates something.)

And I've only heard good things about the Roadworn basses / necks.

No brass plate in the control cavity and I’m not sure any of the others are original.
The pots are vintage-looking but the pickguard looks cheap.
Unfortunately the neck has a broken trussrod, snapped off at the nut…

The 1428 indicates 28th week of 2014. Despite the cloth wiring, it's not a vintage circuit.

The routes on the body appear deeper than typical Fender spec. No indication of past stamps, ink, pencil, or paint in the neck well, and there's a edge along the body contours which isn't typically, even by accident, a Fender thing; USA, or overseas. The truss rod well seems longer-exaggerated.

Mystery solved!
It’s a Fenix body. I found the original owner through a fellow bass tech and the bass is coming home!
