Hey people....


What do people think of this beaut...

SCHACK LTD Edition Unique 4

I have a Marcus Miller Fender that i am not totally happy with...and was looking something that has great playability and lotsa tonal range for plaing in my alt indie/emo/rock band but also jazz, funk etc etc...i do lotsa tapping and slapping and harmonic work....

Just not really got on with the Fender's neck....


Specs Are

2 piece Flamed Maple Body in Trans Puple Finish
2 piece Rock Mapel Neck with Paduak Strip
Black Ebony Finderboard (+ zero fret)
2x Bass Tech pickups
3 band Schack electronics with 18v
Gotoh light tuners
Schack Designed Bridge....

any thoughts??...

I'd say nice, except for the purple... And the shape is quite common with many manufacturers - like Ibanez, for example...
The only bass-related "Shack" I have so far seen/heard of are Radio Shack cabs, and "Paul's Shack" here on TB... so I havent heard of Shack basses so far - therefore, other than looks, I cant be of much help.
The bottom line is - as always - go and try it, if you like it, then go for it!
