Boringly, First Name, Initial of surname and unfortunately, year of birth, I decided that my original choice might get a bit tedious if anyone needed to contact me as it was:

(with abject apologies to Steppenwolf) :)

Poit is just a nonsensical non-word. It may have entered my mind due to "Pinky and the Brain" cartoons, where Pinky would randomly use that as an exclamation, but I chose it because of its randomness and lack of meaning. The 57 is just a random number as a play on so many other screen names with significant numbers tacked on the end.

The great thing is that I don't really have to worry about its availability whenever I need to come up with a screen name for a new service.

I play a jazz bass, I am of the rock generation... as for the boy... Wishful thinking...

My real name is Ross A, my comfort zone is blues rock, and I also own and love my p bass...

But my p was out for a few years with my son so somehow I came up with my user name that I originally used on dating site and it has now somehow stuck...:)

I hosted/administered an Ultima Online shard via an emulator. Actually, I still host it just no one there - hah. Anyway, I was known simply as -G- for the most part so each time I revamped my name it had to start with G. This was simply one of the ones I used which I prefer over the most recent (Galrath - which sounds like I gagged on something :P )
