Boringly, First Name, Initial of surname and unfortunately, year of birth, I decided that my original choice might get a bit tedious if anyone needed to contact me as it was:
Poit is just a nonsensical non-word. It may have entered my mind due to "Pinky and the Brain" cartoons, where Pinky would randomly use that as an exclamation, but I chose it because of its randomness and lack of meaning. The 57 is just a random number as a play on so many other screen names with significant numbers tacked on the end.
The great thing is that I don't really have to worry about its availability whenever I need to come up with a screen name for a new service.
I've never used tapping before but I guess I just like the sound of the name. It's also a subtle reference to the front cover of London Calling but reducing it from the famous smash to a tap I guess, but even I'm not sure..
VB = VolksBoot (it's dutch, meaning "boat for the people"). I used to sail on a boat of this type for a long time
Chaos = The name of my boat back in the time
I play a jazz bass, I am of the rock generation... as for the boy... Wishful thinking...
My real name is Ross A, my comfort zone is blues rock, and I also own and love my p bass...
But my p was out for a few years with my son so somehow I came up with my user name that I originally used on dating site and it has now somehow stuck...
Mine is the main character from an anime with one of the best soundtracks of all time. Since anime is what got me into bass in the first place I couldn't resist.
Cool thread BTW.
It was a name I used in college way back in the early 90's when I was all Hax0r and stuff. I was a Science (Geology, we do it on the rocks) major and was reading a book on Fuzzy Mathematics and one on Chaos Theory, hence when it was time to get a "hacker" name I chose fuzzychaos.
I hosted/administered an Ultima Online shard via an emulator. Actually, I still host it just no one there - hah. Anyway, I was known simply as -G- for the most part so each time I revamped my name it had to start with G. This was simply one of the ones I used which I prefer over the most recent (Galrath - which sounds like I gagged on something )
