What does your username mean?

I got mine from the second "Charlie the Unicorn" video.

I was drinking after a party/gig/jam and figured (For some reason I've now forgotten) that it would make a good username.

I now regret that decision, but at least it isn't the worst thing that's happened while Ive been drinking.

Mine comes from a strange obsession that i have had with Oscar Meyer. Here are my reasons:

1. The weiners that they make are delicious
2. The merch is the best advertising propaganda out there
3. My grandpa worked in a grocery store and got all this Oscar Meyer stuff for free so he passed on to me when i was a little kid.

If anyone has any Oscar Meyer stuff that they don't care for, please PM me (shameless, I know)

Oh, and the 777 is for my Lord.

That is cool.

One of my old bands had this whole horror show obsession, face paint and all that, like the Misfits. And we all needed stage names, based on our favorite classic horror movie creatures. So the rhythm guitarist went with vampires, and called himself Billy Coffin. And me...

Initials + Zombies = KP Rott.

My name is Morris and people call me Morrie or Mo, and I play low, hence Low Mo shortened to Lomo. A Tber from Argentina told me this is the name of a prime cut of beef in Argentina and wondered how I ended up with it.

lomo... i must nominate you for coolest icon ever... hope the Habs make the playoffs this year...

(P.S. I'm a die hard Devils fan... man I love HOCKEY!!! :bassist:)

From my first motorcycle, a 1985 Honda Interceptor 500. The model designation is VF500F. The "VF" stands for vee-four. The "500" is the displacement in cubic centimeters, and the final "F" is Honda's designation for street bike. A letter ''R" at the end of a Honda bike means it is a racing model, so the "rr" I have in my user name is the the dreams I had for that bike when I came up with a user name.

I still have the bike, but family takes priority now, so the bike is a distant project. I could have gotten a new engine for it last year, but I spent my $$ getting the trans orange Jazz instead. Maybe this year...

A long-obsolete, very specialized, sailing vessel

hoy_profile.jpg

Designed and built for only one purpose, which it did extremely well: to transport anchors back and forth between seagoing vessels in harbor and the smithy onshore. A workingman's boat, capable of handling extremely heavy weights and working in extremely crowded harbors

Back in the days of merchant sail, anchors got damaged or lost fairly regularly and needed to be repaired or replaced. Moving those anchors between ship and shore was no easy task (a "best bower" anchor for a large vessel weighed well over two tons, and even the "kedge" was no little thing) and while the work could be done by ship's crew it was usually simpler and faster to hire the job out to an anchor hoy, if one was available

Not a pretty boat by any means, and they almost never left the harbor, but they did provide a decent living that was considerably less backbreaking (and life threatening....) than fishing or bluewater sailing. The crew also had the luxury of sleeping at home in their own beds, most nights

A supporting player, not a star, that exchanged a slim chance at glory and riches for steady work close to home and a fair wage over a lifetime of useful service. Ignored by the majority of casual onlookers, but well respected by those who employed them

Sound familiar?

My ID is an ID Ive used for all the years Ive been on the internet. Starscream is my favorite Transformer character from the original cartoon show. the G1 stands for Generation 1 -- the original cartoon show. I put the G1 after it especially now so people wont confuse my ID for that worthless drek rubbish redesign Michael idiot Bay and ILM studios redesigned /starscream/ into for that brain cell killing intelligent destroying waste of film called the live action Transformer moves... uhm.. yea I dont have a good opinion of those 2 films now the pathetic 3rd one coming out to finish it in a year or so.

Anyway, in the Transformer fandom, one generally takes the user name of their fav character or a version there of. Starscream (or StarscreamG1 or StarscreamF15 (as the original Starscream was an F15)) is what Ive been known by for years now online everywhere I go so here was no different. ^_^ My avatar (when Im subscribed) is a screen capture of Starscream from one of the episodes. Ive also been dubbed the nickname Starscream in a semi official manner by one of the long term official people in the Transformers franchise if you will. Long story how I got the nick from that person... Ive also been given the nickname from fellow role players in Transformer online RPGs where I RP... G1 Starscream and as Ive been told to a chilling T.

And this is an awesome thread! Ive really enjoyed reading all the posts and look forward to reading more!
