What DR strings does MM really play?

Been using DR HiBeams for many years on my Fender

Just got me a DR MM signature set

Does MM really play those himself?

Find that those have no attack and totally drown in the band

Is it me, or does MM actually use HiBeams on his Fender?

I read an interview that said his 4 string actually gets Hi Beams and that the 5 string is the one that gets Fatbeams. Very odd I thought.
