what flats?

I was just wondering which flats you would reccomend for my p bass. Ive had DR flats in but i was also looking into rotosounds. thanks

Try Ernie Ball flats , I love mine they have medium tension and are very warm sounding , strong lows and low mids and once they are broken in they are very woody sounding , makes my Epi EB0 sound like a double bass

I love the RS77LE set, but they're too high tension for most (it's the one with the 110 E).

The Rotos, LaBellas, D'Addario Chromes, and TI seem to be the favorites around here give or take.

I've tried so many flatwounds, like them all, but am currently crazy about D'addario "chromes". I use the heaviest ones I can get, love the tension, tone, predictable touch. But that's on my bass with my technique. Give them a chance. They're very musical to my ears

I prefer Chromes on my J-style basses but I use Fender 9050 flats on my P-Basses.
