Hey...hey ....hey!
Great to see some of the old DP alumni on here. I was a regular there too. Maybe some of you would remember this community favourite......it is the infamous Karl Hoyt Funkifizer Bass. I think it was a rite of passage that each member had to own this bass at least once. I've had since 2006-07 when a lot things starting getting weird with Steve.

Last straw for me, when I knew something was definitely wrong, was when I bought my 69 Jazz bass from Steve that he had on consignment. Steve put it in a bag threw tape around it and shipped to me like that. It was badly damaged and never heard from him again.
The old alumni started a new forum but I can't remember what it is called. Many of the old guys are still there.
Karl Hoyt still writes to me every odd year trying to buy back the 45 year old Funkifizer pickups......I'm keeping the funk.
