I remember going on this website a few years ago on my phone and I always got an ad saying to download the TalkBass app but now I can’t find it on the App Store.

It was a thing a couple of years ago. If you type in TalkBass app through the search bar, there’s multiple posts about the TalkBass app which no longer exists.
Sadness.......I would really love this.
So many times I'm sitting on the couch and get an email about a reply that I want to read. But I don't want to go jump on the computer, nor do I want to have to log in on my phone web browser.

I believe it went by the wayside. Then you could get to it using Tapatalk and then it became incompatible or something like that.
I find my android phone browser works just great...I've it set to be always logged in.
The only thing I've noticed missing is the profile details under a user's avatar, but that's no big deal.

The old tapatalk app is dead, RIP.
The newer Talkbass app is mainly a wrapper for the web. It is no longer in the App Store, but if you have saved it (by synchronisation with iTunes), you can put it back on your phone and it works with the exception of the start page. Ignore the error message and continue using it.
But the browser works well too (except you have a very old one).

Yeah. I saw it soon after I posted this. I originally made this post to another forum and it was moved here.
The Android Talkbass app could be found in some APK-archives. Still have it on my cheap and old mini-tablet with Android 4.2.
But I like the IOS version better. No longer available from the store, but if you downloaded it once to your computer it might still be there or on a backup of your computer.

I noticed that too but only when holding the phone vertically. Then months later I discovered that the profile details show if I turn the phone and hold it horizontally.
