what is the best quality 5 string bass from Ibanez?

^^ I'd like an ANB206 myself. Two things stop me; they're too expensive and I don't like the wider spacing, but if someone were to give me one, I'm sure I'd adapt.

You can adjust the string spacing on these hipshot bridges, but not by much. Maybe a millimeter max. Standard Ibanez bass string spacing, on soundgear models I believe, is 16.5mm, so you can get these pretty close I'd say. Both are a joy to play!

They are awesome! I've got the blue version and it's super light weight and ultra easy to play. I prefer bartolini pickups, but the nordstrand big split pickups that come in these sound just fine.

But you can't adjust the neck width so it makes zero difference in terms of comfort to me.

The pickups are real bartolinis, not the cheap foreign made barts that come in the cheaper bass models. The neck on the 205 is going to be slightly wider and a bit thicker than the Gary Willis signature bass, as well as having 18mm string spacing. Super comfy and easy to play though.
