68 was a split year for freatures. If its a first half of 68 then the details would be mainly the same as a 66; nitro lacquer finish, script headstock logo, wide C width neck at the nut (wide nut, but thin front to back).
By mid 68 the standard changes happened; thick poly finish, bold headstock 'tv' logo, B width neck (its narrower than the C width, but then got thicker front to back). The tuner shapes changed as well but took longer to phase in&out on the P bass compared to the J.
