What is the next Rush song I should learn?

I can already play caravan from Clockwork Angels, I can play limelight, tom sawyer, and vital signs (I only learned up to 3:12) from Moving Pictures, I can play time stand still from Hold your fire, and roll the bones from Roll the bones. I've been working on freewill for a while. I can play it but when it comes to the solo, i can only play some parts of it at full speed, and some parts maybe 3/4 speed. But I also have an issue with actually remembering the basslines. They're just so complex i can't even remember. So I have to use songsterr and I don't really like it that much. But anyway, which song would be the next songs that i could learn?

Exactly what I was thinking. Fun tune, doesn't vary so much that it's hard to remember, takes some chops, but not too crazy.

The first Rush song I learned was Limelight and that is fun but even though the overall structure isnt difficult, he uses different notes/phrases to make it interesting. New World Man is alot of fun as the others have said. The Trees is fun and not too difficult too. If you want to step it up a couple notches, try Circumstances.

Red Barchetta, it has an elegant bassline and is just a blast to play : it has a drive through the chord changes that's just awesome.

For a bit of a challenge try some of Geddy's stuff that he played in the mid to late 80s when he was playing his Wal bass. Songs like Grand Designs and Middletown Dreams from Power Windows, Open Secrets and Turn The Page from Hold Your Fire, War Paint and Superconductor from Presto, and so on.

Honestly, the Rush catalog is so broad and deep that pretty much any song you choose to learn next will be a good one!

Freewill has some great moments for bass. I second Circumstances and Red Barchetta. New World Man has an awesome bass part, too. If you like the longer songs, The Fountain of Lamneth is fairly easy, Xanadu has been mentioned, 2112 is a good standby, and The Camera Eye only has a couple of sections to learn. Off of the 80's albums, Force Ten, Big Money, Marathon… It's Rush, man. So much to choose from.

You seem to be a fan of the "newer" era RUSH. I personally love playing Stick it Out off of the Counterparts CD. Its D-tuned and its heavy and its not that hard!!

Whats You're Doing off of the first album is a great up tempo song with a great riff
