What kind of effects does Stuart Zender use? For example in "Emergency On Planet Earth", and in general.

I think there has been some discussion on this in the past. If you do a search you might unearth some threads about it.

From what I recall, he used the Boss ME-6B for live effects, but in the studio he used singles.

He used the ME-6B, and ME-8B live during his time with Jamiroqaui, but used other effects such as the Mu-Tron III in the studio. AFAIK, there aren't any effects on bass in Emergency on Planet Earth, just clean slap bass.
