I've never played one but I like the pickup placement. That thing can be made to sound great. You're going to get great mids and definition like that. I like the off white too. Very classy color. Reminds me of the good ole days when basses didn't all sound the same and we had guys pushing for new tones instead of how everyone is trying to recreate the same old pbass tones from 50 years ago.

I realize it’s not exactly the same model but I’d imagine the one local to you is an affordable version of the same shape/pickup layout.
All the Fernandes basses I’ve tried have been pretty solid for the money so I’d definitely reccomend you check it out if you’re wanting a 5 string, JJ pickup layout.
