What on earth is this ebay bass?

Seller claims it's a reggie hamilton signature bass. But it has a J/J pickup configuration instead of a P/J. The electronics look off. A reggie hamilton is supposed to have 4 knobs with the input jack on the lower edge of the body. This one has three knobs and the input jack on the control plate.

What the hell do you guys reckon this thing is?

Looks like the jazz bass version of Peter Stroud's strat.


It's got a mexican serial, who knows?
Aside from the mex neck, Looks like an old Am deluxe jazz.

If my memory serves me correctly, there was once an MiM FSR with that particular translucent blue finish. That’s all I got — sorry.
