What pickguard colour with this body.?

Beautiful. Not sure a pickguard is necessary on a finish like that.

I would concur that a pickguard isn't necessary on that finish and design. No routs to hide or screw holes. If you don't play with a pick you probably won't scratch it up playing.
But, if I had to choose one I'd go with a bright white pearl. Or a clear guard if you do use a pick?

Pearloid or something like this:
Atelier-Z, Bacchus, and other Japanese builders often use a clear pickguard on 'back-drilled' Jazz-Bass-Shaped-Objects, and I like this look.

None, clear, or a gold pearloid to match the blocks.
