what sounds better

its a digitech death metal effects pedal played through a crate bx-15 amp on my Dean metalman ml

Personally I prefer the first. Its not the greatest quality coming through my ear bud type headphones, but the second one sounds pretty harsh (not in a good way) with no bottom end. I reakon you would get pretty lost in a mix like that.
