What stopped you from becoming big and famous?

I like to consistently have a roof over my head and food on the table. The jump from no talent hack teenager to big famous rock star would have entailed too many hungry & homeless nights. Edited to add: Now I'm a no talent hack who owns a home and doesn't have to go hungry

"peace and privacy" are understood, but becoming big and famous doesn't always have to do with touring.

I accomplished the big part and decided that was good enough for me. That and the no talent thing, but the lack of talent doesn't seem to have stopped a lot of successful groups/people.
