What strings come stock on Yamaha TRBX 504

Does anyone know the brand and type of strings yamaha sends out on this bass? Thanks

From what I know, Yamha makes its own strings.

The TRBs have the D'addario XL170 5SL(35").Don't know for the new TRBXs.All the other 34" scale basses have a non available to buy strings(red silk). http://faq.yamaha.com/us/en/article...e_Bass_Strings/?current_page_id=1&sort=&type=

The guages for 35" is 0,130 to 0,32.
For 34" is 0,125 to 0,32

Every new Yammer I see have red silks at the tuners.

Old thread but ill chip in.

I brought a TRBX505 last month and it has XL's on it. No red silk, just the same colour ball ends as on my other basses that use these strings.

In fact you only have to look at the images on line of the OP's bass to see there is no red silk on the strings.

Maybe it's an 'Only in Canada' thing.

I just changed the strings on my TRBX504 and compared it exactly! EXL170 Nickel Wound Bass, Light, 45-100.
