It's about time for me to put a new set of strings on my Wav4. I currently use innovation super silvers on my acoustic. Has anyone tried ghs cross overs? I can get them a discount.

I use some old, dead Bel Cantos. They give a nice acoustic thump and they bow well. Expensive new, but I got them used for a good price.
Did you have to swap your tuners when switching to upright strings? I heard some people have issues with the stock tuners bending/snapping.
Even with Crossovers, I wound up needing to replace them. Hipshot Ultralites work nicely, they look great, and weren't hard to install.Did you have to swap your tuners when switching to upright strings? I heard some people have issues with the stock tuners bending/snapping.
I'm playing with the NS Traditionals, but looking for something to replace them with.

@Sgroh87 , did you try the Traditionals before switching to the Belcantos?
Mostly because I'm a string addict and I've been telling myself that it would improve my bowed tone. Why? I am playing with Daddario/NS Contemporary planning to switch to Traditionals...
Thanks, seems like I've got no excuse but to try themI didn’t, but I used Helicores on my real upright for a little while and didn’t love the sound/feel. I’ve heard that the traditional are basically Helicores with a shorter length.
