I play at church to about 150 people and I am currently using a small combo that distorts at high volumes. I am starting a band that will play loud rock music so I thought this would be a good time to start thinking about a better amp. The tc electronic amps and cabs seemed like a good deal. My budget is somewhere around 1000 and probably would buy used gear. So what amp + cab combo would you guys recommend?

What TC Electronic amp and cab combo would you recommend?

If TC amps are what you are looking at, I would look at the RH450 and the RS 212. If you need more volume, you can add more 212's as that amp will support a total of three of their "8" ohm cabs.
